great show. kevin is cute and so was the twins' uncle matt. mary-kate and ashley have a great resume at their young age. u people who don't like them, think about this: they are regular people just like us, their job is to entertain, just like mine is janitorial work at a hotel. they are people.
i think to of a kind should have stated on, i have all there dvd's / videos and quite a few books two of a kind were on the other day on tuesaday 18th i recorded all the episodes and then it takes two came on and then on the wednesday at 6.00pm to granmothers house we go was on and i recorded it then came to watch it aain this morning and it had failed please bring more of there shows back on nikolodean or disney channel i get fed up of the boring episodes wich are on every day thank-you .. (anouther becky)
This show never jumped i loved it and still do. i have always been a big fan of Mary-Kate an Ashley. and mary-kate can act, her and ashley are 2 of the best actress' out there. i have seen all there films and have them on ***** and dvd!!! Two Of A Kind should have stayed and they should ave done more series'
I think that they are good actreses + they dont need to use there looks to get places in life, they dont need big boobs or great looks to make them good actors, or have good films + t.v programs or merchendise, there were ELEVEN when they were in two of a kind! give them a break! there now 19 years old + havent gone down the child star path + are not going to, i watched this program when i was little, im now 15 + still like it, its been cancelled here but if it were still on i'd watch it, its not aimed at older people its aimed at preteens+teens, there role models, that you dont have to be pretty for great things, there programs arn't supose to be 'older' there supose to be teen-ish,thats who the program is aimed at! The program was funny + yeh liek you complain that they end in happy endings, they arnt exactly going to end terrbile are they? the situations werent big enough for that.i dont expect to make everyone now love the program, im just a girl with an opinion, like you.
Even though I've always hated The Olsen twins, I loved this show. I think this was the only good production they ever appeared on. It has excellent writers and a great cast.
I liked this show but the Olsen twins need to do at least one show where they have a mom. This had basically the same concept as Full House
I enjoyed watching two of a Kind. Ok, so the Olsen twins are becoming sickenly popular, but I admire them for their success and how they deal with criticism. I just wish they will play more challenging roles in made for theater movies. I know they can do better than what they are doing now. As for mary kate, I hope she gets better so she can go back to college and prove every one wrong that she's not on this earth for the purpose of only acting and selling merchandise, but that she can do other thngs as well. All I can say is that the olsen twins are here to stay, if not, will be remembered by those who love or hate them.
I don't think it ever jumped and it was way better than "So Little Time" and "Full House." Even thought "So Little Time" was stupid it gave Mary-Kate a chance to win an Emmy, which shows she CAN act, but that does not mean Ashley can't act either. They are both talented and I wish them the best of luck at NYU.
This show was consistently funny, silly, outrageous and, of course, wholesome. Unlike the later series "So Little Time," this show had excellent writers and a brilliant cast, particularly Sally Wheeler and Ernie Grunwald. Of course, though, as with all shows revolving around an "opposites attract" storyline this series really could not have continued beyond the finale episode's kiss at the airport and still maintained the plotline. Losing Mary-Kate and Ashley from television for three years, though was tough. Thank you, ABC Family Channel, for keeping this hilarious albeit too-short-run series alive!
This show never once jumped, in fact it wasn't on for long enough. Luckily they ended it nicely with Kevin and Carrie getting together though. (a wedding episode / one more season of their relationship ups and downs eventually ending in marriage would have been nice though.) I'm a sucker for happy endings, sorry. Everyone who's calling the twins ugly though - you are SO jealous. They are beautiful, famous and filthy rich. They have everything you want so lay off them. So what if they aren't huge-busted like Pammy? At least they're not gonna demean themsleves with over-inflated surgical implants! They are two successful and talented girls and I think people see this and get jealous instead of being happy for them. Best of luck to both of them.
What's the deal with the Olsen twins!? They were cute as Michelle on Full House, but Mary Kate and Ashley are the most damned whiny, annoying b*tches TV has EVER seen! What frustrates me the most is that now matter how crappy their acting is they're seen just about everywhere! They get turned into dolls and get a cartoon made about them as secret agents?!? What the hell is up with that!?!! I swear, their popularity is just sickening! They should take acting lessons from incredible actors like Shia Labeouf and Khleo Thomas. Only the BEST actors should be allowed on TV and I'm glad as hell they cancelled Two of a Kind. Those girls don't have the slightest idea how to act and the plot is damned unoriginal! What the HELL is it with the no-mother plotline!?!!? That was stolen from Full House! Most of the lines are corny and stupid-beyond-belief and only a few of them are funny. Mary Kate and Ashley are nothing but the stereotypical whiny, superficial teenagers and worse! This show definitely doesn't teach that you should judge a person by looks. They see a cute guy and they're like, "Oh my god, I wanna marry him!" How disgustingly cutesy and sugar-coated can they get!?!? I just want to jump in and yank them out of the TV by their HAIR! Those girls are getting the credit they will NEVER deserve. Anyone who likes them belongs in the asylum. Two of a Kind is possibly the most f***ed-up show on the planet (next to the Zack Files which only lasted what, a week or so?) and So Little Time is just CRAP! DEATH TO THE OLSEN TWINS!!!!!! DEATH TO ANY SHITTY-BEYOND-WORDS SHOWS OR MOVIES THEY STAR IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This show was clearly made for pre-teens who just wanted to have fun. The sad part about this was that the dad and the babysitters characters started getting more interesting then the twins themselves. I can honestly say this show never jumped because I watched it at 11 and I loved it! I feel the pain of the lady who started developing at 6. I too was like that, but at 8. I would have killed to be able to run around at the age 12 without a bra or worrying if my shirts were see-through or whether or not I applied deodorant at the age a young age. People need to stop being so perverted and stop wondering why 12 year old's don't need bra's because every girl is different, but I have to admit that now that I'm 15 these babies sure do come in handy
So if you want to see little 12 year olds run around with big **** why don't you watch So Weird on the disney channel? And to the little girls out there that have developed earlier than other girls don't be worried about people seeing what you got just live your life the way you want. And to the girls who aren't developed don't worry their coming. Mary-Kate and Ashley are a prime example that you don't have to have full chests to be successful just be yourselves. Again I say this show never jumped.
Holy mother of God, you people are mean!! I will admit that the twins are a bit on the obnoxious and insanely annoying side, but for some reason, I loved this show. Possibly because there were about 12 total, and they played 2 a day, 5 days a week, for over a year. Therefore, I could memorize the entire season and feel like a real actress. Plus, I had a real thing for the guy who played Kevin....shut up.
I actually enjoyed this show a lot when it was on the air and still do in re-runs, no matter how much I dislike the Olsen Twins. I think the show could have worked better with a less cutesy title and a different pair of girls (more talented, more real-looking) playing the title roles. The writing for this show was actually pretty clever, but the Olsen Twins couldn't act and ruined the efforts of the writers. I wonder if they will ever try to prove their talent in different sorts of roles, and away from each other. Anyway, I would have to say this show jumped the shark when they brought the math tutor in and the girls started to switch places. I am the sister of two sets of twins, and it is usually at that age that twins become easy to tell apart because they start asserting their identities more by wearing different clothes and changing their hair colour. After the age of nine, twins switching places isn't cute anymore. It's disturbing.
