Never Jumped
Hey, it worked in Britain!
It gets predictable
Same Character, Different Actor (Clive and Drew)
No Tony?
Shark Bytes
TAPIOOOOOOOOOOCA!!!
If you know this one, you may agree with me that Colin is a genious and is highly underrated.
I love this show, and it is still the funniest thing on TV>

Started out funny enough (although never as good as the British version). Some of the improv was actually pretty good. But it ran out of steam, probably because they over-used the performers. They should have shaken things up more and had more variety among the faces.
I just got bored with it.

I thought it was a great show, very funny especially Colin and Ryan. However, there's no way that most of the musical parts were improvised.
Loved the English version of WLIIA but that's probably because I am English. Much cruder but subtler comedy than the American version. Josie Lawerence was my favourite and Steve Frost. Wouldn't have been the same without Richard Vranch on the piano, absolute genius who could keep up with any performer. American version was too contrived and just plain silly.
The show was hilarious, until they brought on the "special" guest stars. Kathy Griffin? Robin Williams? Whoopi Goldberg? Uggh! No thank you! By the way, Robin. Your entire act got stale about 1982!
Easily The Funniest Show Ever made. I love watching this show even though it has the worst time slot. Ryan And Colin are the best comedy pairing since Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder.
fantastic show, both US and UK versions. i'm not sure that any programme can make me crack up quite like this one.
oh, and colin and ryan are gods.

I prefer the British version, but Wayne Brady is also very good. Drew Carey needs a punch up the bracket.
Please. Make it stop. Is it over yet? Still showing in endless slabs on cable. Easily the most tedious, repetitive, poor excuse for a cheap budget "comedy" on the tube. Ever. Vaguely amusing on the bill, for an end of year High School concert- "theatre sports" should be forbidden from TV. Egads it is boring. The depths of each episode can be measured by the quantity of lame double entendres. Can they possibly manage to place another "space" themed prop into a routine, so that a "Uranus" joke can be squeezed out... again? You know they can.
I don't think it jumped, and I think the British version was better, but mostly when the Americans were on it. The situations just seem to be better and more hilarious.
I never really liked the song sections, although Ryan was good at them. So was the black guy from the US version (Jacko vs James Brown)
The best people were Ryan, Colin, Greg and Mike, although sadly I don't think there was an episode with all of them at once...
Oh yeah, I HATE Tony Slattery with a burning passion. He ruins it sometimes.

This show stinks. If i went to hell i know this is the only show they'd show me. They'd play it over and over and keep my eyes open with tooth picks. That's a pretty horrible thought.
Never Jumped. This is one of the few shows that can put me in stitches without even trying. They were all brilliant, but especially Colin and Wayne. I've seen both the british and the american versions and I prefer the American one hands down.
Favorite moment: Colin's knick-knack paddy wack joke.

The outakes are funnier than the show in my opinion and Drew should have tried for some fresh material, but still...
Ryan Stiles is the best! Never jumped! : D
I have one question: Was Ryan really a diabetic? Or was he just B.S.ing to get out of eating something disgusting on "helping hands"?

My wife and I loved this show in both incarnations. The American version was better than the British one in that skits were allowed to go on longer and not cut off too quickly but worse in that Drew Carey wasn't nearly as good a host as Clive Anderson. Clive kept himself in the background and let the "contestants" provide the humor. Drew seemed to think he was the funniest thing on the show, which was seldom the case.
From a previous post:
"If you ever watched Thank God You're Here, they may say that the show was totally unreheased and unscripted... but put Jason Alexander in a Star Trek outfit and hey- he should already know what he's stepping into and know what lines he will spew out, which is the greatest weakness of that show"
I do watch that show and I wondered the same thing, how do you dress ikn a costume and not know what youre getting into - if you dress as a detective, you'll probably be in a Columbo type scene, wear a bodysuit and you'll be in a dance scene.
But imagine if they totally mixed it up and had Jason Alexander in a Star Trek suit entering a room full of dignateries at some black tie event or something like that. It would have totally thrown him to where he couldn't effectively improv out of it - which I say would be infinitely funnier.
Anyway, Whose line? This was good stuff but it did get redundant towards the end. I thought "props" was one of the better scenes. The singing wasn't too good but you have to admit, Wayne was very good at creating songs on the fly like that. Based on the jump choices available I'll go with predictable
