How do you notion of how sober the tough nut to crack of guerdon increases, and whether it is plausible far-reaching shock,
the reality that already event, namely: Rising stuffs tolls has transformed grub into an global partisan issue.
Riots make erupted in Egypt, Haiti and Bangladesh in excess of soaring stuffs tolls.
People fought one another closed bags of rice in West Africa.
The causes and the solutions to the stuffs turning-point are complex.
Iif not knotty and you prepare your conception on this, suit response, I am awfully interested to pick up your theory.
See you later!

I know a stupid show when I see one, and this was definitely NOT a stupid show. It just that it wasn't that funny, witty, or interesting. The sheer repetition of punchlines and buzzwords ("Eli's coming." "Eli's coming?" "Eli's coming.") was annoying and seemed like nothing more than filler to get us to the commercials. "SN" was like "NYPD Blue" at its most incoherent -- stretch out a minor plot point by talking about it ad nauseum.
As if there were any doubt... This show is Aaron Sorkin distilled to his best, without the confusing and increasingly convoluted plot and character arcs which eventually took down "The West Wing". His political views are mostly sublimated, and when Sorkin did express opinions (Jeremy's speech about hunting and Isaac's Confederate flag editorial) it made for a brilliant piece of drama. This show was smart, witty, and brilliantly acted, and it takes very little to fall in love with the show and all its characters. It does more in half an hour than most sit-coms do in an entire season.
The show never truly "jumped". The early episodes were so-so, but the show quickly got into gear, and the laugh track was (for me) easily ignored. Dana's dating plan or whatever it was called, William H. Macy's character and the show's finale could have been handled better, but they didn't adversely affect the show. It remained great until the end, and never had the chance to jump.

Dana got a bit weird in the second season, but not to the point it jumped. Granted part of that is because it didn't have time.
I remember this as a surprise for me. I didn't expect to like it as I don't like sports. However it really didn't have much to do with sports. Although I think it was more about sports than Newsradio was about News. (Don't misunderstand that though. I mean I like Newsradio though, even bought it on DVD) Anyway once I started it I found it to be a surprisingly well-done dramedy. It's shorter length was even a benefit as he didn't have the time to do many of those long and boring speeches he'd put in "The West Wing." It could be quite touching.
It could also be quite funny. It was not the kind of humor most teenage boys can appreciate, hence the jab at in "Family Guy", but that's a mark in its favor in my book. It had a more mature adult-relationship kind of humor. By that I don't mean just sex, I mean people who are adults and have had varied experiences.

If you watch the shows on DVD (highly recommended) the early episodes, where they are still trying to "find" the characters and they have that controversial laugh-track, it seems like it might have jumped some sort of shark.
Then, when they hit their groove, they never looked back. At the end of each episode all I want to do is watch more.

I was only ever able to see a few episodes of sports night, but I thought it was great, great plots, great writing, great acting, great everything
I was so impressed that I would buy it, but I don't know if it would work on my computer or DVD player because it is only out on Region 1 in America.
Needless to say it was a great show cancelled long before it deserved to be

I agree with a few who have alluded to the fault of this wonderful show's TITLE, in attracting viewers. Sports Night wasn't about sports in the same way that Time magazine isn't about clocks. Another show which I think was victimized by a terrible name was "The Job." (Say what you will about the show itself).
I'm curious - did ANYBODY see "Live Shot" which debuted in 1995 and disappeared after only ONE season? (three years before Sports Night). This dramedy was about an LA television station, and if my memory serves right, was very similar to Sports Night. I loved LS, and was so disappointed when it simply vanished. (I'd been watching it on FOX). Google it and you'll read very favourable reviews..

I found the entire box set on DVD at Goodwill last weekend. I have been watching it everynight since. This show is unbelievable. I didn't know that Ron Howard had anything to do with it. Great Job to everyone who worked on this show. This one goes in the collection.
It never jumped, Sorkin bailed. He should have taken HBO's offer to keep it alive. Could you imagine this show free of a network?
This show jumped very early on because they tried to make it a comedy but failed miserably. It just wasn't funny at all even though it tried to be. Well, I'm not sure if the whole "repeat a word over and over again" method of "humor" can actually be called trying, but I digress. So we were left with light drama and unfunny comnedy. That hardly makes for a watchable show.
Jumped in reverse, when they got rid of the horrid laugh track.
Great show, loved the characters, loved AARON (not Alan!) Sorkin's writing (still do...even if Studio 60 was a bust), from A Few Good Men to The West Wing, its all phenominal. This was a great show, and really should've been allowed to continue. Then again, if it had, we might never have had The West Wing
